Things people ask

How does the free cap work?

Hosted is free until you reach either 5 members or 15 skills, whichever happens first. Until then, every feature is on. Once you cross a cap the app prompts you to add a card and you pay $5 per seat per month — $25/mo for a 5-person team, $50/mo for a 10-person team, and so on.

Can I move from self-host to hosted later?

Yes. Skills are Markdown with frontmatter; an export/import script ships with the CLI so you can lift your vault into the hosted edition without losing version history.

What happens to my AI keys?

Self-host: keys stay in your environment — they never leave your machine. Hosted: keys are encrypted at rest and only decrypted to issue an MCP request. We never train on your data.

What does “priority support” actually mean?

A direct channel with the founders for the first wave of teams, same‑day responses on weekdays, and a roadmap shaped by what you’re running into rather than a vendor‑written feature list.
